Terms of Service.
Effective August 12, 2026. These govern your use of this website and the free plan we prepare. The written agreement you sign for actual work governs that work.

1. Agreement to these terms
By using this website, requesting a plan, or communicating with us through this site, you agree to these terms. You must be at least 18 and, to request work, be the owner of the property or authorized to act for the owner. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Section 12 contains a binding arbitration agreement and a class action waiver that affect how disputes are resolved. Please read it. It includes a 30-day opt-out.
2. Who we are and what we do
This website is operated by My Efficient Home LLC (“we,” “us”), a Wyoming limited liability company. We design home efficiency plans, identify and file rebates and incentives, and arrange financing options through third-party lenders.
We do not perform installation work. Installation is carried out by licensed contractors we work with. Those contractors hold the licenses and insurance required in the state where your home is located, are responsible for the work they perform and for their own employees and subcontractors, and are the parties whose workmanship warranty covers the installation.
Contact: support@getmyefficienthome.com · (845) 492-9860 · 30 N Gould St #12776, Sheridan, WY 82801.
When you move forward, you will receive a written agreement identifying the contracting party for the work. That document governs the work — including scope, price, warranty, and cancellation rights — and where it conflicts with these terms, that document wins. Read it carefully: it tells you who is performing the installation and who stands behind it.
3. Plans and estimates are estimates
In short: good-faith modeling, not a promise of savings or a final price.
The efficiency plan, savings projections, incentive amounts, payback figures, and any calculator output on this site are estimates prepared in good faith from the information available to us, using typical usage patterns, published utility rates, and manufacturer equipment ratings. They are not guarantees. Your actual results depend on your home, your habits, weather, occupancy, and future utility rates, all of which vary.
- Price is final only in a written agreement signed before work begins.
- Rebates and incentives are created, funded, and administered by utilities and government bodies. They change, run out of funding, and carry eligibility rules we do not control. We file diligently; we cannot promise an approval or an amount.
- Financing is offered by third-party lenders under their own documents, subject to credit approval. Terms shown on this site are illustrative until a lender issues yours.
4. Sample documents
Illustrative materials on this site, including the sample plan, are labeled as samples. They demonstrate the format of our deliverables. They do not describe a specific customer, and they do not represent a promised outcome for your home.
5. Calls, texts, and your consent
When you give us your phone number, you agree we may contact you about your request and your project by phone, text, and email — including through automated systems and prerecorded messages where permitted. Message and data rates may apply, and frequency varies.
Consent to receive marketing calls or texts is not a condition of purchasing anything. You may revoke consent at any time: reply STOP to a text, tell us on a call, or email support@getmyefficienthome.com. Withdrawing marketing consent does not stop necessary messages about work already in progress. See our Privacy Policy for how we handle this information.
6. Electronic communications and signatures
You agree to receive communications, disclosures, agreements, and notices from us electronically, and that your electronic signature on a proposal or agreement is as binding as ink. You may withdraw this consent or request a paper copy by contacting us — though we may be unable to deliver certain services electronically afterward. To access electronic records you need a current browser, a working email address, and the ability to open PDFs.
7. What you submit to us
Information you submit must be accurate and yours to share. Do not submit someone else’s contact details without their permission, and do not submit false or test inquiries.
If you send us a review, testimonial, photo, or suggestion, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use, reproduce, and display it in our marketing, along with your first name and city if you provided them. You can ask us to stop using it going forward by contacting us. Feedback and ideas you send us may be used without obligation or compensation.
8. Intellectual property
The site, its content, design, imagery, and the “My Efficient Home” name and marks are owned by us or used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own non-commercial use in evaluating our services. Everything else — copying, redistribution, framing, scraping, or use in training a machine learning model — requires our written consent.
9. Acceptable use
- Do not attempt to breach, probe, or disrupt the site or its security.
- Do not scrape, crawl, or bulk-download the site or its media.
- Do not submit false leads or impersonate anyone.
- Do not reverse engineer or attempt to extract our underlying models.
- Do not use the site in violation of any law.
10. Third-party programs, lenders, and links
References to utility programs, government incentives, manufacturers, lenders, and any external links are provided for convenience. Those parties operate under their own terms and privacy policies, which control your relationship with them. We do not control and are not responsible for their decisions, availability, or conduct.
11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The website and its content are provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or lost savings or profits, arising from your use of this website. Our total liability for any claim relating to the website is limited to the greater of $100 or the amount you paid us for website-related services in the 12 months before the claim.
These limits apply to the website, not to the work. Nothing here limits or disclaims any warranty, workmanship obligation, or remedy contained in a signed service agreement, and nothing here waives any right you have under home-improvement, consumer-protection, or contractor licensing law that cannot be waived. Some states do not allow certain exclusions, in which case they do not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify us against claims arising from your misuse of the site, your violation of these terms, or your infringement of someone else’s rights.
12. Dispute resolution, arbitration, and class waiver
In short: talk to us first; disputes go to individual arbitration; you have 30 days to opt out.
Informal resolution first. Before filing anything, contact us at support@getmyefficienthome.com and give us 30 days to work it out. Most things end here.
Binding individual arbitration. If we cannot resolve it, you and we agree that any dispute arising out of or relating to this website or these terms will be resolved by binding arbitration administered by a recognized arbitration provider under its consumer rules, before a single arbitrator, rather than in court. The Federal Arbitration Act governs this section. The arbitrator decides the dispute and may award the same individual relief a court could.
Class action waiver. Claims must be brought individually. You and we waive any right to bring or participate in a class, collective, consolidated, or representative action, and waive the right to a jury trial. If this waiver is found unenforceable as to a particular claim, that claim proceeds in court and the rest of this section still applies.
Exceptions. Either of us may bring an individual claim in small claims court, and either of us may seek injunctive relief in court for infringement or misuse of intellectual property.
Your 30-day opt-out. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing support@getmyefficienthome.com with the subject “Arbitration opt-out,” including your name and address, within 30 days of first accepting these terms. Opting out costs you nothing and affects nothing else in your relationship with us.
13. Governing law and venue
Except where the Federal Arbitration Act applies, these terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and website disputes not subject to arbitration will be heard in the state or federal courts located in Wyoming.
Work performed at your home is different. The law of the state where your property is located governs that work and any signed service agreement, including the consumer protections and cancellation rights that state gives you.
14. General
If a provision is found unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of it. You may not assign these terms; we may assign them to an affiliate or successor. These terms, plus any documents they reference and any agreement you sign with us, are the entire agreement about the website. We may update these terms and will change the effective date above when we do; continued use after a change means you accept it.
