Your privacy choices.
Two things live here: a switch that stops targeted advertising on this browser, and a way to ask us for a copy of your information, a correction, or a deletion.
Shortcuts: Privacy Policy · Cookie Policy · Terms of Service
1. Do not sell or share my personal information
In short: we don’t sell your data for money. This turns off ad tracking anyway.
We do not sell your personal information for money, and we never sell or share mobile opt-in or text-message consent with anyone. We do use advertising and measurement cookies that California, Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Texas, and other state laws treat as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” The switch below turns those off, and keeps them off if we add any in future.
2. Global Privacy Control
We honor GPC. If your browser or a privacy extension sends the signal, we treat it as a legally valid opt-out for that browser automatically — you do not need to do anything else here.
3. Access, correction, and deletion
Wherever you live in the United States, you can ask us to confirm what personal information we hold about you and give you a copy, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or stop marketing to you. We will not treat you differently for asking.
That opens a pre-filled email to support@getmyefficienthome.com. Prefer the phone? Call (845) 492-9860 and say you have a privacy request.
4. What happens after you ask
- We verify it is you — usually by matching the details you give us against what we already hold, and sometimes by confirming through an email or phone number already on file. We ask for the minimum needed.
- We respond within the deadline your state sets — 45 days in most states, extendable once where the law allows, and we will tell you if we need the extension.
- Authorized agents may submit on your behalf with proof of authority; we may still confirm directly with you.
- Some information we must keep — permit, warranty, rebate, tax, and licensing records have retention periods set by law and program rules. If we cannot delete something, we will tell you exactly what and why.
5. If we say no
You may appeal. Reply to our decision with the word “Appeal” and we will review it and respond in writing. If we still deny it, we will tell you how to raise it with your state attorney general.
6. Stopping calls, texts, and email
Reply STOP to any text. Click unsubscribe in any marketing email. Tell any of our people on a call. Or use the request link above and ask us to suppress every channel at once. Necessary messages about work already scheduled or in progress will continue.
